ToDa Corporation & EDF-Myanmar Donate Water Purifier to Htein Nan Pin Basic Education Secondary School
On January 27, 2023, ToDa Corporation & EDF-Myanmar have donated a water purifier to Htein Nan Pin Basic Education Secondary School in Htantabin Township, Yangon Region, Myanmar. The donation ceremony took place on January 26, 2023, marking a significant step toward providing clean drinking water for students and teachers.
In 2021, during a visit to the school, EDF-Myanmar Managing Director U Zin Zaw Zaw Maung was informed by the principal about the school's challenges in accessing safe drinking water. In response, EDF-Myanmar collaborated with ToDa Corporation, which generously stepped in as a donor. ToDa Corporation also conducted field visits to assess the school’s needs before committing to the donation.
The donation ceremony was attended by students, teachers, and officials. Mr. Onodera from ToDa Corporation and Managing Director U Zin Zaw Zaw Maung from EDF-Myanmar provided insights into the construction and benefits of the new water purifier. Principal Yin Naar expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support.
The event concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by representatives from ToDa Corporation, EDF-Myanmar, and the school. Students celebrated by taking their first sips of clean water and capturing memorable moments.
