EDF Cambodia Supports 197 Students in Kampong Chhnang Province with Scholarships and Educational Materials
On October 21, 2024, the Cambodia Education Development Fund (EDF Cambodia), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Kampong Chhnang Province and the Office of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Kampong Trach District Administration, organized a scholarship ceremony to provide educational materials and financial support to students from six target schools. A total of 197 students, including 114 girls, from Hun Sen High School in Kampong Tlach, Oussey Commune, Kampong Chhnang Province, benefited from this initiative.
The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Cheng Chandy, Chairman of the Education Development Fund of Cambodia (EDF).
This marks the 18th year that Kampong Trach District has received support from the Cambodia Education Development Fund Organization (EDS Cambodia). Over the years, the community has received a variety of aid, including clothes, school supplies, bicycles, bike rental materials, budgets, reading books, as well as wells, standard toilets, playground slides, and infrastructure repairs.
EDF Cambodia remains committed to uplifting education and improving the lives of children in rural areas, ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed.
